ABOUT
Someone who probably would have deserved a chance once upon a time, but will never get another one as a result of what he's done.
Initially appearing as reckless, violent, and impulsive — but also sensitive and thoughtful — time and circumstances in prison have helped make it clear that he's mentally unstable and in dire need of help. He does have some people in his corner, but since he's been in unideal environments all his life, there's only so much that can be done. This may not be his fault, but that doesn't change the fact that actions have consequences, and he's committed some extreme ones.

OPT-OUT
• Oz (1997-2003) is very hardcore as far as canons go. If you can think of a content warning, there's a good chance it's come up in the show. It's unapologetic, brutal, and laid the groundwork for much of western television that came after. • For Miguel specifically, content warnings applicable to him include mental instability, self harm, suicidal ideation and attempts, and severe eye trauma that he inflicted on another. His newborn baby died as a result of drug use (which he has regularly partaken in himself), and this has had a dramatic impact on him. Colourism is a part of the character's story as well, at the request of the actor and based on his real-life experiences. • Because of the nature of the character and canon both I am conscientious of others' boundaries when tagging with him. That said, PM to opt out entirely. |
